As you may already be able to tell, this blog still has some rough edges. Please excuse them as I try to get it up and running.
Two very important points:
1) This is a blog. It is not legal advice, I am not your lawyer, and I do not become your lawyer by your reading this blog. Legal advice and arguments are very situation specific. Please do not assume that anything said in this blog necessarily applies to any particular case.
2) I represent clients across the country in internet prescription cases. Obviously, information I receive in the course of these representations is confidential and I will not discuss it on this blog.

Do you have any information about the laws concerninig a Medical Doctor (MD) owning a pharmacy or internet pharmacy?
Is their any antitrust violation?
Do you know of any federal laws or statutes concerning this?

You make a good point. The problem is that the only practical way to test these laws is to 1) get charged criminally and 2) refuse to settle. That’s not a choice that most people would find too attractive.

Great Blog. Please keep the entire community informed as the case in SD and other evolve. Specifically, the date anticipated for verdict. There are those that just ‘had a friendship’ or acquaintance that remain under surveillance and observation; and simply succumbed under federal pressure. There are actually some of us that had no operational knowledge or involvement; yet out of fear of the government’s power to persuade we agreed to things we did not do.
